    George Koch Tin Shop Opens

    George Koch opened George Koch Tin Shop in Evansville, Indiana.

  • KOCH Paint System Developed

    The first KOCH Finishing Systems turnkey automated paint finishing system was developed.

    KOCH Finishing Systems’ Evolution

    KOCH Finishing Systems began evolving through organic growth and acquisition to become one of the six companies which currently comprise Koch Enterprises (KEI): a family owned and operated holding company with a 2021 revenue exceeding $1 billion dollars.

  • KOCH Finishing Systems Electrocoat System Developed

    KOCH Finishing Systems developed the first commercial electrocoat system in North America and expanded solution offerings to include powder systems.

  • 1990

    KOCH Finishing Systems Enters Global Market

    KOCH Finishing Systems entered the global market sector in a joint venture with PageKoch Europe Limited (now KOCH Europe), a Lichfield, UK based company that specialized in delivering retrofit projects for finishing equipment. Today, KOCH Europe is a turnkey provider of automated finishing systems for all major industrial industries.

  • KOCH México Established

    KOCH Mexico was established in Queretaro, Mexico to provide enhanced sales and technical support for U.S. clients with facilities in Mexico.

    2009

  • 2013-2015

    PriceWalgren

    In 2013 Price Industries, a design and fabrication company for industrial finishing systems, joined KOCH Finishing Systems to form PriceKoch Industries; this business venture expanded KOCH’s product and technology offerings to new clients, industries, and territories. In 2015, KOCH acquired Walgren Company, an engineering group with a focus in anodizing and plating; Walgren was later merged with PriceKoch Industries to form PriceWalgren.

  • Jessup Systems

    In 2017, KOCH Finishing Systems acquired Jessup Engineering, (now Jessup Systems) to extend anodizing and plating capabilities.
