George Koch Sons developed the first commercial electrocoat system in North America and expanded solution offerings to include powder systems.
George Koch Sons entered the global market sector in a joint venture with PageKoch Europe Limited (now KOCH Europe), a Lichfield, UK based company that specialized in delivering retrofit projects for finishing equipment. Today, KOCH Europe is a turnkey provider of paint finishing equipment for all major industrial industries.
George Koch Sons opened a location in Queretaro, Mexico to provide enhanced sales and technical support for Mexico customers.
In 2013 George Koch Sons acquired Price Industries, a design and fabrication company for industrial finishing systems, to form PriceKoch Industries; this business venture expanded our product and technology offerings to new customers, industries, and territories. In 2015, George Koch Sons acquired Walgren Company, an engineering group with a focus in anodizing and plating; Walgren was later merged with PriceKoch Industries to form PriceWalgren.
George Koch Sons acquired specialty anodizing and plating group, Jessup engineering (now Jessup Systems), to extend anodizing and plating capabilities.
